Picnic time with the grandchildren
Nana has a picnic basket,
its made of wooden sticks.
It has so many surprises,
it makes me lick my lips.
Mashed egg sarnies,
corn on the cob,
freshly cooked and
straight from the hob.
Apples and raisins
and strawberries galore,
always making us
wish for more.
Fresh fruit drinks
and choci milk,
just be careful
not to make it tilt.
Now our hands
are all sandy,
never mind
Nana has a tissue handy.
